ADHD – Changes In Behavior
All children benefit from routines. If they are at the same time every day doing the same things, they will eventually automatically learn to do them. Routines are essential for children with ADHD who have difficulty listening to instructions and remember.
Parents and teachers should lay down rules, because rules discussion superfluous.
But rules must be respected, so parents must agree on a punishment when the rule is violated, on a firm, calm and logical manner.
Everyone uses lists to refresh the memory. Lists help a child with ADHD in cleaning their room, completing the homework and completing all the tasks without help he or she is likely to forget. Lists can also help with certain problems, such as “Things to do when I feel restless” or “Things to do when I am about to explode.”
Parents of children with ADHD learn which situations their child’s symptoms worse. These may be parties, stay up late, guests, long car rides or a change in daily routine. Such situations are unavoidable, but it is possible to take action. As a child, for example medication, doctors may recommend a slightly higher dose to overcome these situations.
A teacher with special education degree can help a child with ADHD to get through things. It also helps if the teacher determine what the child must do in manageable sections divided, and a certain amount of time proposed for each task.
ADHD support
Teachers who understand that tight discipline in children with ADHD does not work, can help resolve, but to tolerate small mistakes. Teachers can also show their support by giving specific compliments.
Through personal contact (written notes often get lost!), teachers and parents must make sure that the rules under which the child lives, consistent, whether they are dealing with homework, taking medication, or what he or she needs to go to school and should bring. Read the rest of this entry »

Translation and Interpretation
When most people think of translation or translation services, they think of foreign languages. There are some translators who do interpret one language into another language (such as French to Italian), but not all of them do. Some translators or interpreters convert words into motions turning a language such as English into sign language. Those who have the ability to translate and/or speak more than four languages are usually highly sought after and well paid for their services and time. People who have these skills are well versed in the languages they are translating in addition to cultural differences and dialect. Translators turn written words into various languages.
Interpreting service is similar to translating. With interpreting you are translating spoken words into various languages, such as at a
business conference, during a live performance, or during a church service. This may also include sign language. Such types of translating can occur via video conferences with the use of devices such as Skype, or may be done in person. They are used worldwide daily.
Other types of translating and interpreting can be done not only with a person, but also through computer programs, hands on-computer devices with human operators, and other ways such as closed caption at the bottom of a television screen. All translators and interpreters must have a very high degree of concentration, are typically great at writing, are excellent at analyzing, and good at editing. Because of the level of concentration that many translators and interpreters use, they will often only provide services for 30 minutes or less before switching off with another translator or interpreter.

The book published without saying a word
What are the ingredients of success in publishing? Brilliant author, excellent book, luck … We have to disappoint you and say nothing of that. An example is the Shed Simon, who has in only one week designed and published a book titled “What Every Man Thinks About apart from sex.
Shed Simon has earned millions of dollars with that book and ended up on 44th best-selling books on Amazon. It would not be any surprise that the 200 pages there is not one single word.
Simon has already written a book titled “Man the idea” but he has not made financial gain, while this happened with a book in which there is not one letter. Best-selling author says that behind this success great job is done in the equipping and preparation of books and a great London PR agency. They sure must be a great PR agency because otherwise they would not make a hit out of blank sheets.
When the book was put in sale, the agency sent a press release in which he argued that the book is popular with students because it comes in handy for making notes in lectures or in learning. It was even promoted on YouTube.
Apart from good PR campaign, Shed Simova said that he has sent the book to the Playboy publisher Hugh Hefner. His lifelong dream was to be invited to one of his party. Hefner sent a card saying that the idea is funny, though not an original. The invitation was not sent.

Author reveals new science and new ways to create a healthy body
Learn How to Practice Good Health Habits with New Xulon Book
Longwood, FL (Vocus) June 25, 2010 — After having studied various forms of medicine and healing therapy for more than 68 years, author R.W. Noble, MD, wanted to pass along his information to others. In his new title, The Science/Scripture Connection and Healthways (http://xulonpress.com/bookstore/bookdetail.php?PB_ISBN=9781609572303&HC_ISBN=) ($15.99, paperback, 978-1-60957-230-3), he teaches readers how to build a healthy temple (body) as God commands. This book contains practical and necessary ways to create a healthy body through both traditional and integrative therapies that have been proven over 45 years of use, and it proves for probably the first time how certain scientific factors agree directly with certain Scriptures.
“As Christians, our bodies are not are own and God expects us to learn and practice good health habits,” he says. “The Bible, in a way, can be used as a textbook in advising us how to control our thoughts and emotions, which will lead to a much healthier immune system and greatly reduce or prevent many illnesses.”
This knowledge, Noble explains, was gained both by having a Christian background and through his research into Psychoneuroimmunology, which focuses on the relationship between psychological processes and the nervous and immune systems. It is his hope that this book will resonate with readers as they realize and enjoy the additional health advantages made possible by combining both science and biblical Scripture.
Dr. Noble has practiced medicine for 45 years. He is a graduate of the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School at Dallas. He will soon be 84 years of age.
Xulon Press (http://www.xulonpress.com), a division of Salem Communications, is the world’s largest Christian publisher, with more than 7,300 titles published to date. New Book Tells a Story of an Addiction Like No Other
Author shares the sincere story of her all-consuming ordeal and inspiring recovery
Latham, NY (Vocus) June 12, 2010 — Bookshelves are cramming with books about people who have come back from the gulf of addictions, which most of the time inspire readers. Still, readers have yet to hear of someone with an unbelievable kind of addiction. In author Jill Peck Vona’s new book Addicted to Cold Water, she boldly shares her tormented life, but strong will to live.
Addicted to Cold Water is more than a story of survival and recovery—it is a story of a miracle. The miracle is the power of persistence and love. The ordinary things in life afflict some people. Too many cocktails become the disease of alcoholism. Drugs overpower moral judgment. Food becomes an obsession. In this book, readers will learn of the all-consuming ordeal of the author in being comfortable in her own skin. Here, she describes an addiction to cold water that most people could never imagine. And yet, her step by step eloquence about her dive into addiction makes an old story fresh. The description of the terror and agony is moving and compelling. Intertwined in this story of determination is a love story between the author and her husband, Paul. Readers will share their unequivocal understanding of each other and sense that they have lived their lives together for the joy of each other.
“Addicted to Cold Water is Jill’s brutally honest story of her fall into addiction and obsession and how—through courage and a sincere love of life and the undying love and patience of her husband, Paul—drags herself out of the depths of her disease to live a normal life. As a fellow addict, I find her book to be another inspiration to continue my own recovery.” – Richard Markes, RN, New York
